Outlaw Lynn & Who's Drivin¿ had the great honor of playing at the benefit for Cy-Fair Volunteer Firefighter, Thomas Schuster on Sunday June 7, 2009. His fellow firefighters fed over 15,000 people from donated briskets, chips, drinks, water, ice cream and watermelon. Captain of Fire Station #8, Mark Rodriguez said he and all the firefighters were overwhelmed with the response from the community for their donations and participation in this outpouring of help for a hurt Cy-Fair Volunteer firefighter.

They sold out of food around 4pm and had people leaving their names for the next benefit, which they anticipate having in a few weeks. Cars lined up and down Barker Cypress and 529 to come to the fire station to eat, to donate, and to pick up their bar-b-q plates to take with them. We saw the ladder trucks, the rescue unit and a show and tell from the Life Flight helicopter crew. We saw all different volunteer
fire fighters from many cities around Cypress. We wish Thomas Schuster God speed and a smooth recovery.
And, to all those at Station 8, thank you for your hospitality and we hope you enjoy your pictures! Thank you for having us.
